Our History and Legacy

The journey of School Voice Association began in 1977, when Mr. R. R. Iyyar established the Federation of Private Schools. This initiative laid the foundation for a collective platform dedicated to the welfare, development and advancement of private educational institutions.

Under the inspiring leadership of the late Mr. D. Christ Das, and with the guidance and support of Mr. Rajkumar, Mr. Krishna Moorthy and the late Director Titas of the Directorate of Public Instruction (DPI), the initiative evolved into the Tamil Nadu Nursery, Primary and Matriculation Higher Secondary School Managements Association.

Visionary Leadership and Collective Strength

Today, School Voice Association continues its journey under the able leadership of two eminent educationists and legal professionals: Adv. Martin Kennedy, President, and Adv. M. J. John Arokia Prabhu, General Secretary. Supported by a highly coordinated Executive Committee and a dedicated Legal Team, their leadership has strengthened the association’s commitment to representing educational institutions, recognizing outstanding contributions and advancing the education sector.

Meeting with the CBSE officials in New Delhi to Solve the Burning issues SARAS and Oasis in getting affiliation.
Our recent,  meeting held in New Delhi  the National Independent Schools Alliance  dialogue with the CBSE   higher officials regarding the CBSE Burning issues .We were asked to meet the IAS Sanyam Bharadwaj, Controller of Examination, to address the issues of CBSE. The issues discussed during our National Executive meeting
